My Photographs

I am still learning how to use a DSLR camera and using Adobe Photoshop is something I have learned from trial in error. My photography is not to a professional standard or even technically correct or artistically stunning, but I enjoy it and that counts for something. See links below to view a collection of photos that I used to think where pretty good for me. I am hope to update this section as my photography standard improves.

Leaving for the prom

Going to a prom is very much part of American culture, however this very American tradition has managed to attract the interests of a new generation of young people in Scotland.

I completed a short photography evening course at the start of 2005 at Glasgow's Cardonald College, it covered the basics to help me better understand a bit more about what I was doing with my new camera. The course was black and white film based. I had to develop my own film and images have just selected 10 of the resulting early photos for this site which were scanned from the negatives.

I upload most of my photos these days to Flickr, I have taken part in some stage photo shots, as well as photos of family, friends and different events I have attened.
