My Photographs - Leaving For The Prom

Going to a prom is very much part of American culture, however this very American tradition has managed to attract the interests of a new generation of young people in Scotland, who now see this as the pinnacle event in the School Calendar to mark the end of School life and the start of adult life. My collection of 7 images shows you how my sister-in-law and some of her friends from Rosshall Academy (aka Penilee Secondary School) do it in style! And unlike the American counterparts, you can drink at 18 here before any of my American friends ask about the champagne ;-)
